Brownhills Neighbourhood - Weekly Update

Hello everyone,

Here’s a quick round-up of what your local neighbourhood policing team has been up to this week. We’re here to keep you safe, listen to your concerns, and work together to make our community a better place to live.

👮‍♂️ What We’ve Been Doing This Week

Patrols: Patrols have been completed around the Brownhills area in on foot and in vehicles. This week the team have also completed a number of arrests and intelligence gathering operations. Many of which have had success and have resulted in the team being able to arrest outstanding offenders that were continuing to cause nuisance in the community.

Crime Prevention Work: Other than our usual crime prevention work, the team have completed a number of visits to local retailers where we have spoken with yourselves and helped give advice where we can.

Responding to Issues: Our retailers have been reporting a growing amount of concern around stock being taken coming into the Christmas period. We have increased patrols in these areas and have spoken to staff at some of these locations to let them know how we can help.

Supporting Vulnerable People: We have been dealing with a number of investigations in Brownhills and are actively working with victims to make sure they live in a safer area.

“Now the evenings are darker, remember to keep lights on timers if you’re out in the evening. It makes your home look lived-in and can deter burglars.”
